GEO SCHOOL STOVE

In many states of Andhra Pradesh mid-day meals are being provided to students up to 10th class. The food is cooked on three stone stoves and in the open. A stove has been designed to cater to the needs of the schools called GEO SCHOOL STOVE. The design is purposefully made low in height, as it would be convenient for the cooks to lift the rice and other items cooked easily. The number of students in the schools are from 200 to 400. The quantity of rice is more than 50 kgs per cooking. The pit is created to reduce the height of the stove and also which is giving additional strength to the stove. The refractory bricks can be used for increased life of the stove. The stoves are saving about 50% of the wood otherwise consumed in three stone stoves.
